Archiving

Content is automatically moved to archive folders after a certain amount of time, based on the date of the content.

Instructions
  1. Navigate to the folder you wish to add an archive page to.  Add a new folder entitled 'Archive' and save.

  2. Open this folder and select  Add Archive Page from your toolbar.
  1. You will then be asked to rename the archive page.
  2. Click [Ok] once you have renamed the page.

  3. Select [Add Folder] and then select the relevant folders that you want archived content to come from.
  4. Click [Select] to confirm your choice.  The folders that are added to the archive page will show up in list view.

  5. To see what the archive page will show, click on [Preview].  To view the articles that are under different years, click on the year and it will show all articles archived under that year.

  6. To make this folder viewable go into Manage Secondaries and tick the box to make the folder visible.

  7. Change the folder settings so that the archive page becomes the landing page.  To find out how to do this, see Set Landing Page.
  8. You should now be able to click on this folder while viewing your website and all the archived articles will view as links.

    *  If you want the archive page to show within another published page, such as on the homepage, talk to
ID Digital Media about getting this set up.
