A Set is used to group form items together. These are commonly used for multi-choice questions with radio buttons or checkboxes. For more information on radio buttons and check boxes see the applicable sections.
Instructions
Click Add a Set.
A new set will appear in the form with Start Set at the beginning and End Set at the end.
Click on the Edit button to the right of the new set:
Change the “New Set” Label to your required text. The label should describe what the set will contain. For example: “Gender”
Sets can belong to other sets, for example a set called “Gender” could belong to a set called “Personal details”. Use Belongs to Set to add the set to an existing set or leave it as NONE.
Setting Group Radio Buttons to Yes means that only one radio button item in that set can be selected. For example if the set was called “Gender” and contained two radio buttons labelled “Male” and “Female” this option would prevent the user from selecting both.
Display Radio buttons Vertically governs how the radio buttons inside the set are displayed on the screen. Selecting Yes will put them in a vertical list, selecting No will put them horizontally across the screen.
Display Check Boxes Vertically governs how the check boxes inside the set are displayed on the screen. Selecting Yes will put them in a vertical list, selecting No will put them horizontally across the screen.
Setting Wrap With Legend to Yes will display the Label of the set above its contents and add a graphic box around the set.
Once you have selected your required options click [Update].
