Add Password Field

A Password Field is similar to a Textbox except the contents are obscured as the user types thetm in for added security.  These are most commonly used for passwords or PIN numbers.

Instructions
  1. Click on  Add Password Field.
  2. A new item will appear in the form labelled "New pwdbox".
  3. Click the edit button    to the right of the new item.
  4. Change the "new pwdbox" Label to your required text.  This will be displayed on the left side of the password field in the form and generally tells the user what they should enter into the password field.  For example: "Enter your password".
  5. The [Minimum Input Length] is the minimum number of characters the user is allowed to enter in the password field.  Most passwords must have a minimum of 6 characters.  If you leave the value as "0" there is no limit.
  6. The [Maximum Input Length] is the maximum number of characters the user is allowed to enter in the password field.  If you leave the value as "0" there is no limit.
  7. Setting [Numerical Value] to Yes would mean that only numbers will be accepted into the password field.  For example, the password field could be for a PIN, which only contains numbers.
  8. Click [Update].
  9. Click [Save] to save your form.
