Add Text Area

A Text Area is used for when you need the user to enter more than a sentence.  For example, feedback or a support request.

Instructions
  1. Click on  Add Textarea.
  2. A new item will appear in the form labelled "New textarea".
  3. Click the [Edit] button to the right of the new item.
  4. Change the "New textarea" Label to your required text.  This will be displayed on the left side of the text area in your form and generally tells the user what they should enter into the text area.  For example: "Enter your feedback".
  5. The Minimum Input Length is the minimum number of characters the user is allowed to enter in the text area.  If you leave the value as "0" there is no limit.
  6. The Maximum Input Length is the maximum number of characters the user is allowed to enter in the textarea.  If you leave the value as "0" there is no limit.
  7. Setting Numerical Value to "Yes" would mean that only numbers will be accepted into the textarea.
  8. See textbox instructions for more details about Minimum Input Length, Maximum Input Length and Numerical Value.
  9. Click [Update].
  10. Click [Save] to save your form.
