Add Text Box

A Text box is used for when you need the user to enter a few words or numbers.  For example, names or phone numbers.

Instructions
  1. Click on  Add Textbox.
  2. A new item will appear in the form labelled "New textbox".
  3. Click the Edit    button to the right of the new item.
  4. Change the "New textbox" Label to your required text.  This will be displayed on the left side of the textbox in the form and generally tells the user what they should enter into the textbox.  For example: "First name".
  5. The Minimum Input Length is the minimum number of characters the user is allowed to enter in the textbox.  For example, we know that the shortest common first name is 2 letters long ("Al" or "El"), so by setting the Minimum Input Length to "2" you would make sure users don't just enter their initial.  If you leave the value as "0" there is no limit.
  6. The Maximum Input Length is the maximum number of characters the user is allowed to enter in the textbox.  For example we know that it is highly unlikely for someone to have a very long first name so by setting the Minimum Input Length to "24" you would make sure users don't enter their entire name.  if you leave the value as "0" there is no limit.
  7. Setting Numberical Value to "Yes" would mean that only numbers will be accepted into the textbox.  For example the textbox label could be "What is your age in years?" - which can only be a number.
  8. Click [Update].
  9. Click [Save] to save your form.
