You can choose whether to show a date on your piece of content or leave the date blank if it not required.  The date is also manually selected, so you can select a date that is different from the date you are creating the content, thus affecting how it is shown on the website and also when it is archived.
 

1. When you have a piece of content open, go to the [Date] field and enter in which date you want the content to show with.
2. If you don't want a date to show, un-tick the [Show Date] tick box.
3. Click on [Save as viewable] or [Save as NOT viewable] to save changes.
