There is an option to automatically load articles and content on to the front page of the website or homepage .There is also the opportunity to manually insert articles on landing or primary pages on the website.

If you choose to use automatic content generation for the homepage or landing pages, then when you add a piece of content to the IDmedia Content Management System (CMS), it will automatically add it to the designated homepage or landing page.  To set this up the user defines what folders to automatically load content from. Content which is added to these folders will be placed on the homepage or landing page in chronological order.

If you choose to use a manual updating system, this means you have to manually choose what partial content or content will appear on the homepage or landing page. You cannot use the automated publishing system. Each piece of content has to be manually added or removed.

You can have areas of the homepage which are manual and areas of the homepage/landing page which are automatic. However, it’s strongly recommended that these rules of content addition to the homepage/landing pages be established prior to the commencement of the website.
