My contact form is rejecting telephone numbers when I include a space or + (plus sign) in the number?

This is often the result of setting your phone number up in form builder as a numeric field. To correct this, click edit (the pencil icon) against the form field at issue.

Then set 'Numeric Value' to 'No'
